Obtaining your AEPĀ®: How to distinguish yourself as a recognized estate planning professional
Did you know that through your membership with the Estate Planning Council of Northern Nevada you can distinguish yourself as an estate planning professional who meets high standards of education, experience, knowledge, professional reputation and character? The Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designation is awarded by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) to those that meet the requirements. For attorneys, you can acheive the Estate Planning Law Specialist (EPLS) designation and be recognized as as a specialist in estate planning through the Estate Law Speciliast Board, Inc., a subsidiary of the NAEPC which is an approved certifying organization with the Nevada State Bar. Please join us, and qualify for a drawing for a free dinner for two if you bring a guest, to learn about these designations and other benefits of membership with the EPCNN.
During this meeting we will be joined by Susan Austin-Carney, JD and Eleanor M. Spuhler of the NAEPC team. Susan has managed the Accredited Estate Planner® designation and the Estate Planning Law Specialist certification programs for over ten years and will provide an in-depth overview of each. Eleanor has been with NAEPC for over 17 years and will share an update of the benefits, programs, and services available to each member of our council because of our affiliation. Attend to learn more about the relationship between our council and NAEPC and to have your questions answered by the senior members of the national office staff team.
