ESTATE PLANNING COUNCIL OF NORTHERN NEVADA

This intermediate program will discuss common, not so common, fun and interesting uses of powers of appointment to help individuals and families achieve both non-tax and tax objectives.  Tips and pitfalls will be reviewed and specific examples will be given.

Turney P. Berry concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, fiduciary matters, and charitable planning.  Mr. Berry is active in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a Uniform Law Commissioner, Co-Chair of the Charitable Planning Committee for the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a member of the American Law Institute, a member of the Advisory Council of the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, a Member of the Advisory Board of Trusts and Estates Monthly, a member of the Joint Editorial Board for Uniform Trust and Estates Act, and a member of the Bloomberg BNA Tax Advisory Board (Estates, Gifts, and Trusts).
