Join us for our bi-monthly breakfast meeting, where esteemed divorce attorney Gary R. Silverman, Esq., will be sharing what estate planning professionals do that affect families and individuals who later divorce.
Mr. Silverman is a named partner at Silverman, Decaria & Kattelman, Chtd., a Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registered of Preeminent Lawyers firm. The firm was established by Gary R. Silverman and Mary Anne Decaria in 1985. Michael V. Kattelman joined the firm in 1998. The firm has three times been Pro Bono Firm of the Year as selected by Volunteer Lawyers. Additionally, the Firm has been instrumental in the development of the Family Court Rules on disclosure and procedure.
Mr. Silverman was admitted to the Bar in 1970, and has devoted himself entirely to family law for the last twenty years. He has served as President of the Washoe County Bar Association, and as Chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar on two occassions. He is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where he served as Parliamentarian in 2009-2010 and a Member, of the Executive Committee for 2009-2010. He has served as Chair of the Nevada chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
