Carson City Breakfast Meeting - Working with Business Valuation Professionals
Working with Business Valuation Professionals
Advisors often work with business valuation professionals. Succession planning, gift/estate tax returns, and probate litigation are common reasons for business valuations in estate planning. Valuations also arise in non-estate planning situations, such as divorce, buying/selling a business, and resolving partner disputes. This presentation will help advisors become more savvy consumers of business valuation services. We will discuss how to define the scope of the engagement, how to pick the right professional for your project, and how to best work with the valuation professional to optimize efficiency and minimize your client’s costs.
